baptism

Baptism is an outward expression of the inward reality that one has placed his or her faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. The act of going under and rising out of the water symbolizes death to the old, self-centered nature and rebirth with the new nature God gives through His Son. At First Covenant we offer this sacrament in the spring and fall during our worship services. The church family wants to rejoice with those being baptized!

Our next baptism services will be the weekend of March 7, 2010.

Children (grades 1-5) who would like to be baptized need to register for the four-week children's baptism class. Click here for more details.
