Aren’t much of our lives spent in this seemingly never ending place called, “in the meantime?”
It’s in the meantime that we wait:
- For the kids to get ready
- For the loneliness to stop
- For the arrival of new friends
- For the trip of a lifetime
- For that first retirement check
- For that phone call … test results or prognosis
- For that Mr. Right or Prince Charming in shining armor
- For the arrival of a baby, or a much anticipated package
- For the broken marriage or relationship to be mended
- For that prayer to be answered
Becoming a woman who trusts God, who desires peace and contentment, and who longs for living well and living deep in each moment, needs a new perspective of LIVING in the MEANTIME. We were created to know and trust God. Our Creator knew that we would need these times of waiting to allow us to become women who trust fully even in the meantime.
Our retreat is preparing to dig deep into some new perspective on how to become a woman who trusts God while in the waiting room of our circumstances. Are you ready?

GUEST SPEAKER: DEBBIE ALSDORF of Design 4 Living Ministries is an author, speaker and counselor who for the past 15 years, has been doing what she loves the most: ministering to women. She is a popular speaker traveling throughout the year, sharing with women of all ages the reality of God's love for them and the gift of His involvement in their lives. Debbie shares with transparency, conviction, and passion as she holds out the Word of Truth to women in a way that is practical, relevant, and life changing. She connects through her stories, humor, and real-world illustrations. Coming from a place of personal brokenness, she is known for exposing the frailty in her own life in a way that helps women look at themselves and the pieces within themselves that are in need of healing and restoration.
Debbie founded Design4Living Ministries in 2000. Her heart's desire is to teach women the practical aspects of walking in Christ so that their foundations will be strong and their lives will be changed.

you will be able to choose a Workshop during your registration.
CAPTURING TIME - Create a Memory Box: This workshop will give you the opportunity to create a unique memory box filled with yours or a loved one's favorite mementos of treasured times. The fee for this workshop is $10 to cover the cost of the memory box. No special skill is required, but we do ask for advanced notice to ensure there are enough boxes for every. And remember, bring the items you'd like to "capture" in time. A TIME TO PLANT - Create a Terrarium: This workshop, will demonstrate and offer you the chance to plant your own luch, green terrarium. The cost of this workshop is $5. Reserve your terrarium now! (Examples of a Memory Box and a Terrarium)
