Global Pipeline is our strategy for bringing the Gospel to unreached people groups ("tribes" of people with no viable Christian community among them) in Northern India while also reaching out to unreached people groups in the Sacramento region.

Think about these statistics:

• There are more than 600 unreached people groups with a population of over 100,000 in the world today.
• About 300 of those unreached people groups are in the nation of India.
• Only about 1/2 of 1% (.05%) of funds given to evangelical churches in the US go to these unreached people groups.
• Less than 10% of outreach workers currently on the field are working among unreached people groups.

Our primary global outreach mission focus as a church is to change these statistics by establishing and supporting a team in Northern India. Part of our plan includes:

• The Global Pipeline Internship: This is a 6-month commitment of individuals in our church family to an intense program of scripture study, spiritual disciplines, local outreach to unreached people, and global outreach training. The internship is designed for adults of all ages and stages–from students, to singles, to parents, even grandparents. Interns must dedicate about 10-14 hours per week to the program in order to discover more about their role in Global Outreach, either as "Goers" (future workers on the field) or "Senders" (active supporters of global outreach workers).


• Our Team: In 2011, a family from our church was sent to "Kite City" in Northern India to live among the unreached people of the region. As a church family we are committed to supporting them as our hands extended to that part of the world. Several other team members have now made their home in Kite City with the express purpose of sharing the love of Jesus with people who have not yet heard the Good News. And we pray that other individuals from First Cov will also answer the call to move to India and help meet the great needs of people in Kite City. Our goal is to see a church-planting movement established among the unreached people there that will be led by their own people under the power of the Holy Spirit.
